We believe that there is one God, existing in the trinity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is God. He is Yahweh, Jehovah, He is, and was, and is to come. He is the creator of all things.

 

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, our Redeemer, the Messiah, the returning King of Kings. We believe in his literal virgin birth here on earth, His life, ministry, death on the cross, and that He rose again to life on the third day and is seated on the right hand of the Father today.

 

We believe in eternal life and that Jesus Christ is the one and only way to salvation. This salvation is God’s free gift to man. By admitting we have sinned and believing in the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, and accepting Him as Lord, we can spend eternity with God. We believe in water baptism, as taught and demonstrated by Jesus, as the way for believers to identify with Jesus Christ.

 

We believe that the whole Bible is the inspired Word of God. As such, the presence, power, and gifts of the Holy Spirit are active in our world today. We believe the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is God’s empowerment to the believer, to develop the character of Christ and live in His authority.

 

We believe His word is “Living and active, it pierces even to the dividing of soul and spirit, joints and marrow, and judges between the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” As such His word is the unchanging standard by which all morality is judged.

 

We believe that we are the body of Christ in today’s world. We believe that our mission goes beyond the free gift of salvation, and we all have a place and a calling in His Kingdom.

 

We believe we are all created in God’s image. We believe in the value and sanctity of life, and that life begins at conception.

 

We believe in the soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ, and that our obedience is better than sacrifice.
